Stamp Camp - Holiday Theme
Hello ladies!!!
I had a FABULOUS time yesterday during my first Stamp Camp of the holiday season. I hope everyone who attended did, as well. We made a few Thanksgiving and Christmas cards (see previous posts). What a great way to get in the holiday spirit!
These camps are designed to teach techniques in a comfortable, informal setting. My goal is to keep the groups to no more than 7 ladies. I will open new dates if the need arises. The camps are absolutely FREE events. And there is no pressure to purchase anything. I really just want to share my excitement for stamping and the techniques I have learned over the years.
Do you want to make it to one? The next Stamp Camp will be held on November 18th from 11:00am-1:00pm. The last Stamp Camp will be held December 3rd from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Contact me if you would like to attend. Hope to see you then!

Back to School Vintage Vogue Style!
My daughter is heading off to middle school this year. Wow, the years have flown by! She gets to have her very own locker. Apparently this is a big deal. I can't remember back that far. So we have been on the search for an organizer to adhere to the inside of her locker door. Easy task, right? Wrong! Her locker is only 6" wide (if that) and we have not been able to find an organizer that will fit. My solution ... I will make her one! She has seen it (minus the Mommy note) and loves it. Thank goodness!
It holds a mini composition book, a few spare pencils/pens, and clip(s). It has a Top Note mini magnet board for important notes. The "pocket" at the bottom can hold a few other things (i.e. lip gloss - no lipstick for her yet, erasers, pencil sharpener).
My plan is to put my little note on the board after we have toured the school and she has practiced opening her locker 100 times. Daddy will have to distract her enough for me to add the good luck note and a mini chocolate bar in case she needs a midday pick-me-up.
Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping!

...well, all you have to do is play and win! This is an extremely simple contest. There are three easy steps.
1. FOLLOW ME. The follow me icon can be found on the right hand side of my blog.
2. COMMENT. Please give me feedback on one of my posts! Think this contest is a great idea? Let me know. Has a card inspired you? Share that with me.
3. RECOMMEND. All you have to do is recommend my blog to a friend and have him/her follow me. When she/he does send me an email at howe6@verizon.net with your information and the information of the person you recommended who is now following. (You can not recommend someone who was already following before the contest began.)
All of this must be completed no later that 8:00am eastern time, Monday, August 2nd. Easy enough, RIGHT? :-) Everyone who participates in these three activities will have their name put in THE basket. (It is my special basket I hold all of my workshop drawings from. I will draw one name at 9:00am eastern time on Monday, August 2nd! I will notify the winner by email and, with permission, post his/her name and blog site.
If you are already following me and have posted a comment, thank you! You only need to do one more step.
Some of you may be wondering why am I doing this? Well, it is simple. There are soooo many blogs out there and my new blog might get lost in cyber world. I don't want that to happen. I want to share my work with you and inspire your next great project. I LOVE Stampin' Up! products and I want to share that love with everyone. I want you to know you have demonstrator committed to helping you throughout your stamping journey whether it means getting you the preferred pricing for Stampin' Up! items, giving you advise on products, or helping you with a craft project. I love stamping and want you to love it just as much! Some of you just need to know how to start and others of you are seasoned stampers looking for fresh, different ideas. I want this blog to be about both.
Thank you all for visiting my site and Happy Stamping!

I have been really wanting to use this set from the Summer Mini and finally got the chance tonight. This set, Punched Posies, is a level 2 Hostess set. With a $300 Workshop you can get this set FREE! Most of the stamps in this set coordinate with Stampin' Up! punches. I am not a fan of cutting things out so I was definitely drawn to this set.
I was not very creative tonight and decided to use the NEW Color Coach for a color combo idea; I was really happy with the results. Hope you like it too and thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Smooch Spritz Samples
Smooched Vintage Vogue Birthday Wishes
I love Smooch Spritz! For this card I used a combination of two smooch spritzers offered. I smooched the paper and the ribbon! I don't have a Color Catcher (121093) so it was a little messy. However I think it was worth it. Enjoy! Smooch away...
Supply List
Stamp Sets - Vintage Vogue (117690) and Watercolor Trio (117050)
Paper - River Rock CS, Soft Suede CS, Presto Patterns DS Paper (in the mini 117175)

Other Items Used - Smooch Spritz Log Cabin (119921) and Gold Foil (118770), Two-Step Bird Punch, Curly Label Punch, Build-A-Brad
Smooched July 4th Card
I thought I would share the very first card I created using Smooch Spritz. For this card I used Vanilla Shimmer SS. It is a subtle addition to the card. The spritz is more noticeable in person than in the photo.
Supply List
Stamp Set - July Fourth (mini 118523)
Paper - Whisper White CS, Cherry Cobbler CS, and Not Quite Navy CS
Ink - Whisper White Craft Ink, Not Quite Navy
Ribbon - 5/8" Organza Ribbon
